If you are foreigner you must visit this place.you can enjoy very much so here we go some details about algama ella Sri lanka.
This 6m Algama Ella Waterfall can be viewed from close range due
to a convenient nearby rocky ledge. After the fall, the flow of the water is
often obscured as it flows through a narrow gap under rocks. Further
downstream, a 3m-long crevasse can be found, and the water is once again hidden
amongst the branches of trees, only to emerge again beneath a rock
protuberance.
Situated
in the Kegalle District, Dedigama Electorate. Head from Colombo along the
Colombo – Kandy road to the Pasyala four-way junction and turn right to follow
the Attanagalla road for around 4km. At Haggala junction, turn left onto the
Algama road, pass through Algama and continue to Uduwaka where the fall can be
found.
Coming to Algama from the Attanagalla, Just before the Algama
junction you will find a road towards your left after traveling about 1.5Km you
will find a place to the left saying “Vehicle park of Algama falls”. From here
you need to get to the stream and travel upstream & please note there are
many visitors especially during the weekends so try and get there as early as
possible. There are three waterfalls, so if you are interested travel upstream
but please be careful because the rocks are slippery.
Its
advised to pay and park your vehicle in a one of the many gardens which has
turned in to vehicle parks. Organized gangs let the air out of tires of
vehicles not parked in their gardens. Therefore its better to pay this
protection money and park somewhere.
